Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Momentum Scaling Co ("we", "us") collects through momentumscalingco.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Momentum Scaling Co is a small, owner-run web design business based in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a free audit or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email, phone number, website address and trade.
- Usage information. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, how you arrived). These tools use cookies and similar technology.
- Email link activity. If we email you a link to this site, it may include a short code that is unique to you. When you open that link, we record that you visited, how many times, and which sections of the site you viewed, and we store this with your contact details so we can follow up at a useful time. This applies only to visits from those links. You can ask us to delete this information at any time.
- Public business information. We may also research publicly listed business details (such as a business name, phone number, website and Google listing) to prepare audits and to contact businesses that may want our services.
How we use it
- To prepare and send the audit you asked for and to answer your questions.
- To contact you by email or phone about our services. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
- To improve the website and understand which pages are useful.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and comply with the law.
How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies’ advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Netlify (website hosting and form processing)
- Airtable (where we keep our list of leads and clients)
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and Gmail)
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
- Stop marketing emails: reply “stop” to any email, or email us. We will stop within 10 business days, usually much sooner.
- Stop calls: tell us on the call or by email and we will add you to our do-not-contact list.
- See, correct or delete your information: email us and we will respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep lead information for as long as it is useful for following up, generally no more than 3 years after our last contact, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner. We keep a do-not-contact record so we can keep honoring your request.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information ever happens, we will notify you as required by Massachusetts law.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
